$1 Billion in Stablecoins Enter Binance, but $16 Billion in Liquidity Exits

In August, over $1 billion in stablecoins like Tether (USDT) entered the Binance exchange, which some view as a bullish signal. However, analysts believe this figure is merely an initial and relative signal compared to the over $16 billion in liquidity that has exited all exchanges since the beginning of the year. Bitcoin (BTC) price rose by 25% in August, surpassing $75,000, but this increase occurred under conditions where the overall flow of stablecoins remained contractionary. This divergence indicates that the recent Bitcoin rally has been largely driven by institutional purchases outside of exchanges. Analysts emphasize that the influx of stablecoins into exchanges merely reflects capital readiness, and if these inflows do not continue in the coming months and demand does not materialize in the spot market, Bitcoin may enter another corrective phase.
