Crypto wallet provider SafePal has announced that some information of 39,798 users has been affected due to a security vulnerability in its order tracking system. The compromised information includes names, surnames, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping details. It was noted that this data was obtained from orders placed between March 2, 2025, and April 11, 2026. The company emphasized that users' wallets, recovery phrases, and private keys remain secure. However, the aggregation of personal information could allow attackers to conduct phishing attacks. A similar data breach occurred in the crypto sector with Trezor, where approximately 15,000 customers' data was compromised. Additionally, in an attack targeting Coldcard users, over 1,800 BTC were stolen. These developments highlight the increasing importance of new security measures for crypto investors.
