Abwab Acquires Egyptian Eduact to Enhance Educational Services
Jordanian education technology company Abwab has acquired the Egyptian company Eduact in a deal whose value has not been disclosed, aiming to expand its services to include the technological infrastructure for teachers and educational centers. Eduact was founded in Egypt in 2020 and provides a software-as-a-service platform that helps independent teachers and educational centers manage content, assessments, payments, and in-person and digital learning processes. Abwab was established in Jordan in 2019 and offers digital educational content and assessment tools compatible with local curricula, currently operating in six markets across the Middle East and North Africa. Abwab plans to integrate Eduact's technologies into its platform and leverage its regional presence to reach more teachers and educational centers in Egypt and other markets. This acquisition represents Abwab's second acquisition in 2026, following its earlier acquisition of the Egyptian company Apex Education, which specializes in international university admission services.
