The AI agent-focused email service startup AgentMail announced the completion of a $6 million seed round financing, led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Phosphor Capital, angel investor Paul Graham, HubSpot CTO Dharmesh Shah, Supabase CEO Paul Copplestone, and Ramp CTO Karim Atiyeh.

Alongside the financing announcement, AgentMail also launched an automatic access API. Developers can directly connect AI agents to this interface, allowing them to register and create email accounts autonomously. The platform also allows users to manually set up and manage email accounts, permissions, allowlists, and API keys. AgentMail co-founder and CEO Haakam Aujla stated that AgentMail is built from the ground up, aiming to provide AI agents with an email experience similar to that of humans in Gmail or Outlook—without the elements found in a human interface (UI).
