BlockBeats News, December 5th, according to official sources, Ethereum Layer 2 network Base, owned by Coinbase, has launched a cross-chain bridge connecting to Solana. This bridge supports the native use of Solana assets on Base and allows Base assets to migrate to Solana. The bridge is supported by Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and is secured through dual verification messages from Coinbase and Chainlink nodes to ensure security.

Currently, the SOL - USDC liquidity pool on the Aerodrome platform has officially launched and trading has begun.
