Battle Map of Ukraine as of July 29, 2026
The 1617th day of the war in Ukraine continues. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 272 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. The enemy carried out 87 airstrikes, dropping 298 guided aerial bombs, deployed 9,383 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,073 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops. As a result, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the defense forces struck four areas where Russian invaders were concentrated. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one combat encounter occurred, the aggressor launched three airstrikes and conducted 66 shellings. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 20 times. In the Kupiansk direction, there were three enemy attacks. In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defense 13 times. In the Sloviansk direction, they stormed 19 times. In the Kramatorsk direction, there were four attacks. In the Konstantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 31 attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 37 assault actions. In the Alexandrovsk direction, the enemy made one attack. In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 20 attacks. In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders thwarted four attempts by the enemy to advance. In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected.
