The Bitcoin market has recently achieved its highest profit level since 2026. As of August 20, the market realized a cumulative profit of approximately $1.65 billion on that day, indicating that a large number of investors have taken profits at high levels. Analysts point out that as realized profits continue to rise, the market needs new demand to absorb the selling pressure. Currently, buyer demand remains stable, able to absorb the supply pressure from investors cashing out their profits. If subsequent capital inflows and market demand continue to be maintained, the current scale of profit-taking has not yet posed a significant risk; however, if demand weakens, the continuously increasing profit-taking pressure may exert downward pressure on prices.

Markets are now focused on the August S&P Global Manufacturing and Services PMI flash readings due on August 21 U.S. Eastern Time, which will directly influence September rate-path pricing.
