These Bitcoins were purchased at approximately $803 at that time and reached a value of $1.76 million when moved in August 2026. The investor's paper gain was about $1.73 million, with a total increase rate calculated at 7,975%. The transaction cost was only 0.00000176 BTC, or about $0.11. The movement of the wallet coincided with a security breach related to Coldcard hardware wallets, during which attackers reportedly drained over $116 million in assets. Some Bitcoin holders who had long held their assets have begun to reorganize their wallets due to security concerns.
