BTC Tops Global Liquidations in Last 4 Hours, Hyperliquid Whale Faces $11.6M Single Liquidation

BlockBeats News, February 9, according to HyperInsight and CoinGlass monitoring, influenced by this morning's BTC short-term surge to $72,300, approximately $93.14 million of the BTC network's liquidation occurred in the past 4 hours, ranking first in the liquidation of various assets, with 81.4% being short positions. 60% of the liquidations occurred on the Hyperliquid platform.
The monitoring shows that the BTC short position held by a whale starting with 0x5dc on Hyperliquid was liquidated in a short time with 201 positions, totaling about $14.49 million. The largest single liquidation reached $11.63 million, and the position has now been completely closed. During the same period, the platform also witnessed another large liquidation exceeding $18 million.
