Clanker Platform's Initial DEX Offering (IDO) Faces Sniper Attack, Community Feedbacks "Performance Disaster"
BlockBeats News, December 5th, Farcaster founder Dan Romero announced that the Clanker platform's first-time presale project House was sold out within 30 seconds. A screenshot shows that the presale hard cap was only 20 ETH.
However, the community widely regarded this presale as a "disaster." Because Clanker used a presale contract based on an old version released earlier this year, the presale stage was sniped by a whale, who obtained a 16 ETH (80%) share. Furthermore, this presale did not limit the participation amount per wallet, which was also a major factor in the presale share being monopolized by an oligopoly. In response to this event, Dan Romero stated that the relevant sniping address will only be able to receive tokens 7 days later and ensured that the next presale will be permissioned to ensure fairness.
As of the time of writing, the HOUSE market cap is reported at $1 million, with a trading volume of only $1.8 million and 682 token holding addresses.
