Prefer us on GoogleOpenAI's core product lead Thibault Sottiaux hinted that Codex might reach a new growth milestone tomorrow, stating that they are reviewing backend data and there could be a new record worth celebrating, urging users to "Hold on to your Codex." This statement has been interpreted by the community as a signal for the next quota reset. In the past, Tibo has provided quota resets for users after Codex reached user growth milestones. In mid-August, when Codex surpassed 15 million active users, he initiated a quota reset; a week later, after exceeding 20 million, he issued another quota reset for both Codex and ChatGPT Work users. Following the previous pattern of increasing by about 5 million each time, this time it is likely aiming for 25 million active users.
