Ferrexpo Raises $100 Million, Veresky Invests $50 Million
The mining group Ferrexpo has raised approximately $100 million through the placement of new shares on the London Stock Exchange. Half of this amount was invested by Kernel agroholding owner Andrey Veresky. Ferrexpo placed 448,848,484 new shares at a price of 16.5 pence each, which is 42.3% lower than the quotes on April 30, 2026. The new issuance accounts for about 73.1% of the total volume of the company's shares. Veresky will receive 224,424,242 new shares, while the largest shareholder Fevamotinico will subscribe for 179,539,393 shares at the placement price. The funds will be directed towards strengthening liquidity, resuming production in Ukraine, and financing deferred expenses. The share placement is subject to approval by shareholders at the general meeting on September 21, with trading of the new securities set to begin on September 22. Trading of Ferrexpo's existing shares, suspended since May 1, will resume on September 7.
