Foundry Consults Miners on BIP-110 Signal Voting

By: rootdata|2026/07/17 14:49:07

Foundry USA Pool has begun soliciting voting opinions from its mining clients regarding the BIP-110 signal. Voting weight is calculated based on the 10-day average hash rate of each participant. Foundry stated that it will adhere to the majority result of the hash rate voting during the signaling period; if more than 51% of the voting hash rate supports BIP-110, the pool will emit a "Yes" signal with 100% of its blocks; if the majority opposes, it will not issue a supportive signal. Foundry is the largest Bitcoin mining pool in the world based on hash rate.
