Motorcycle Sales in Ukraine Decreased by 15.5% in August 2026
In August 2026, Ukrainians purchased 9,516 motorcycles, which is 15.5% less than in July, but 10.8% more than in August 2025. The highest sales volume in the last 13 months was recorded in May 2026 — 11,919 units. The August result was the fifth largest during this period. Over the month, purchasing activity decreased by 1,748 motorcycles, including a reduction of 1,087 units in new motorcycle sales. New motorcycles accounted for 56.0% of the market (5,330 units), which is 16.9% less compared to July. The leaders in new motorcycle sales were Spark (830), Kovi (723), and Lifan (722). Domestic resales amounted to 3,468 units (36.4% of the market), decreasing by 10.8% compared to July, but increasing by 28.5% year-on-year. The leading brands in this segment were Honda (346) and Lifan (329). The first registrations of imported used motorcycles totaled 718 units (7.5% of the market), decreasing by 25.1% month-on-month, but increasing by 3.5% year-on-year. Electric motorcycles made up 0.1% of the total volume, with only 6 such vehicles purchased. The median age of motorcycles in domestic resales is 6 years.
