NH Investment & Securities is accelerating its preparations for the commercialization of token securities ahead of the implementation of the token securities system. On the 12th, NH Investment & Securities announced that it had signed a business agreement with Koscom to promote the token securities platform business. This agreement is in preparation for the enforcement of the token securities system law in February 2027, with plans to develop a business model that can connect to actual products and customer services. The two companies will collaborate on the token securities platform and distributed ledger technology, exploring ways to utilize a joint platform and identifying suitable underlying assets and business models. Technical verification will also be conducted in stages before the service launch. NH Investment & Securities plans to review the technical requirements necessary for the token securities business and the integration with existing business systems, as well as verify the applicability of distributed ledger technology. Through this collaboration, the possibility of tokenizing structured securities such as bonds will also be examined, and key business processes will be analyzed. Baek Kwang-soo, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, mentioned that the incorporation of cryptocurrencies into the regulatory framework will bring changes to the capital market and financial services, and he stated that the company will continuously seek business opportunities to expand its digital-based financial services.
