OKX Star: Will work with ICE to build a more reliable market structure, connecting digital assets with the stock market
OKX Star posted on the X platform that the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has invested in it and will join the company's board of directors. The two parties plan to collaborate on the construction of digital asset market infrastructure.
The collaboration between OKX and the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) will combine OKX's digital asset execution technology with ICE's regulated market technology. As operators of two high-performance matching engines and transparent order books, they plan to jointly build a more reliable market structure that connects digital assets with the stock market, enhances cross-market price formation, and meets institutional-level risk management and compliance standards.
In the future, the two parties may explore tokenized securities and the digitization of traditional assets, including researching how to connect securities more efficiently to global investors through digital infrastructure, while also considering the governance and regulatory frameworks of traditional exchanges. The collaboration between digital asset technology and traditional financial institutions may become an important direction for the development of future financial markets.
