OpenMind is pleased to announce a partnership with Circle to build AI-powered payment infrastructure.
BlockBeats News, December 2nd, according to official sources, OpenMind has announced a partnership with Circle to leverage the USDC stablecoin and the x402 payment protocol to drive embodied AI's autonomous payment capability in the real world. The two parties will integrate OpenMind's robotics and embodied AI systems with Circle's value transfer infrastructure to support robots in completing energy, service, and data payment settlements without human intervention.
According to the introduction, the related applications will cover three types of scenarios:
1) Task markets, including tasks such as delivery and inspections along with payment;
2) Information markets, selling local sensing and environmental data;
3) Resource markets, used for location-based resource payments such as charging, storage, and tool usage.
USDC serves as the value carrier, while x402 acts as the underlying payment protocol, providing embodied AI with a cross-network, machine-native payment method. OpenMind and Circle stated that the partnership will serve as a foundational module for the future embodied AI economy and will showcase more real-world deployment cases such as robot automatic charging and offline payments in the coming months.
