Otek Supplies 101 Electric Refrigerated Trucks to Lotte Mart

Otek has supplied 101 electric refrigerated trucks to Lotte Mart's Ocado-based online grocery dedicated center. These vehicles are designed with considerations for freezing performance and loading efficiency necessary for fresh food delivery. Otek delivered the initial batch on the 14th, and this project includes not only the delivery of vehicles but also joint development tailored to the logistics operating environment, registration of eco-friendly vehicles, mass production, and supply. After signing a business agreement with Lotte Mart in 2023, Otek began developing electric refrigerated trucks, which are designed based on the ST1 electric vehicle platform. The development process focused on optimizing the refrigeration system and vehicle systems to maintain food freshness, along with design modifications and testing evaluations suited to actual delivery environments. Lotte Mart's Zeta Smart Center is an online grocery logistics hub established through a partnership with Ocado, and it plans to launch early morning and ultra-short delivery services in the Busan area. Through this supply, Otek aims to gain experience in executing large-scale projects in the eco-friendly specialty vehicle market and plans to expand into the global market.
