Three Factors for Bitcoin's Rise: AI, Regulation, and Options
In order for Bitcoin to enter the next bull market, an analysis suggests that investment in artificial intelligence (AI), regulatory clarity, and changes in options products are necessary. Maxim Sailor, CEO of STS Digital, stated that the selling of volatility by institutions, AI investments, and delays in U.S. digital asset regulation are major factors suppressing price increases. He explained that while traditional financial institutions are rapidly adopting blockchain technology, liquidity is flowing to existing financial firms and not reaching digital assets. For a significant rebound in the digital asset market, regulatory clarity, eased monetary policy, and the introduction of institutions into the 24-hour financial market are essential. Sailor analyzed that interest and funds in AI are diverting away from digital assets, constraining growth. He also pointed out that delays in regulatory reform in the U.S. are negatively impacting the digital asset market. He mentioned that regulatory clarity would facilitate the transition to 24-hour trading and settlement in traditional finance. The growth of the digital asset options market among institutions is suppressing Bitcoin's volatility, with the recent BVIV index dropping to around 30%. Bitcoin has been trading between $60,000 and $66,000 over the past month, and attempts to break through resistance or support levels have not gained sustained momentum. Sailor predicts that for the digital asset market to rise, regulatory clarity, widespread institutional deployment, and a supportive macroeconomic background are needed.
