Record Agro-Industrial Exports: 117 Products Reach $7.073 Billion

Argentina's agro-industry achieved a record in exports in the first half of 2026, with 117 products registering historic highs in their external sales. The exports of these products totaled $7.073 billion, a growth of 58% compared to the same period in 2025 and 104% compared to 2019. This group represented 26% of the total exported by the agro-industry in the first six months of the year. Sunflower oil led the exports with $1.329 billion, an 85% increase over the first half of 2025. Frozen boneless beef ranked second with $1.303 billion, a 44% year-on-year increase. Fresh or chilled boneless beef reached $740 million, growing by 38%. Sunflower exports skyrocketed to $567 million, an increase of 971% year-on-year. Other notable products include frozen crustaceans ($440 million, +46%), beef and beef products ($238 million, +57%), pears ($207 million, +2%), honey ($178 million, +78%), and frozen potato preparations ($171 million, +7%). Records were also set for lower volume export products, reflecting a greater diversification of Argentina's agro-industrial export offerings.
