Bitwise's Solana (SOL) staking ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, revealing structural differences compared to the Ripple (XRP) spot ETF. The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) became the first Solana ETF to exceed $1 billion on August 28, with net assets of $976.3 million as of August 27. BSOL is a product that combines staking rewards with exposure to Solana's spot market, currently offering a staking rate of 100% and a net staking reward rate of 5.78%. The CEO of Bitwise noted that only Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs have grown to over $1 billion, while the Ripple ETF has not yet surpassed that threshold. As of August 27, the net assets of the Ripple ETF stood at $507.4 million, with the total market size reaching $1.439 billion. The overall capital flow in the Ripple ETF market and the size of individual products should be analyzed separately. BSOL has exceeded $1 billion on an individual product basis, while the Ripple ETF recorded a total net asset of $1.439 billion.
