Ukraine to Sell Four Enterprises for UAH 7.55 Billion
The State Property Fund will hold auctions for the sale of four major industrial assets with a total starting price of over UAH 7.55 billion from October 13 to 20. The auction includes share packages of Sumykhimprom and the Odesa Portside Plant, as well as the confiscated Demurynsky Mining and Processing Plant and Motor Detal-Konotop from Russian owners. On October 13, 99.9952% of Sumykhimprom shares will be sold with a starting price of UAH 1.005 billion. On October 19, 99.5667% of shares of the Odesa Portside Plant will be sold for UAH 4.308 billion, with an obligation to invest at least UAH 500 million in modernization. On October 20, the starting price for the Demurynsky Mining and Processing Plant will be UAH 1.825 billion, while Motor Detal-Konotop will be offered for UAH 415.5 million. New owners will be required to settle wage debts and not transfer assets to sanctioned individuals. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Fund for the Elimination of Consequences of Armed Aggression.
