Uniswap Weekly Trading Volume Reaches $325.2 Million
The weekly trading volume of tokenized stocks on Uniswap (UNI) has been recorded at $325.2 million (approximately 449.4 billion KRW). The blockchain trading of U.S. stocks and ETFs is expanding from centralized exchanges to decentralized exchanges (DEX). Uniswap v4 recorded a trading volume increase of $170 million (approximately 234.9 billion KRW), while v3 saw an increase of $155.2 million (approximately 214.5 billion KRW). The share of tokenized stocks on DEX has risen from 0.1% a year ago to over 4% this year. Daily trading volume on DEX surpassed $565 million (approximately 780.8 billion KRW) at its peak at the end of June 2026, with DEX-based trading volume reaching $7.8 billion (approximately 10.78 trillion KRW) in the third quarter of 2026. Uniswap v4 and PancakeSwap (CAKE) v3 accounted for about $5.2 billion (approximately 7.19 trillion KRW) of this total. Tokenized stocks are on-chain assets that follow the price of underlying assets rather than being actual stocks, with trading items including Nvidia, Tesla, and Apple. Uniswap announced on its blog on June 12 that it would support tokenized securities trading, and at that time, the cumulative swap volume of real-world asset (RWA) pools exceeded $9.1 billion (approximately 12.58 trillion KRW). The expansion of trading volume on the Robinhood ($HOOD) chain was also mentioned, with cumulative trading volume surpassing $1 billion (approximately 1.38 trillion KRW) by mid-August. The increase in trading volume of tokenized stocks on DEX indicates the formation of a new trading area, but the impact on the actual stock market may vary depending on sustainability and the scope of regulatory application.
