Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Wash will deliver a keynote speech at the Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium at 11 PM Korean time on the 28th. The Fed announced on the 20th through its public schedule that Chair Wash will speak at the symposium taking place in Moran, Wyoming, at 10 AM Eastern Time on the 28th. This year's symposium is hosted by the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank and will run from the 27th to the 29th. The theme is 'Financial Innovation: Implications for Payments and Policy.' The Jackson Hole Symposium is an annual central bank event held every August in Wyoming, where central bank officials, policymakers, academics, and financial market participants gather to discuss macroeconomic and monetary policy issues. This speech comes ahead of the September FOMC meeting, and Chair Wash's remarks are being considered a macro variable for the Bitcoin and altcoin markets. Wash was appointed as Chair of the Fed Board on May 22 and will serve until May 21, 2030. In the cryptocurrency market, the trajectory of U.S. interest rates and dollar liquidity have been background variables affecting the prices of risk assets. The actual content of this speech and its impact on cryptocurrency prices will be confirmed after the remarks are made public.
