Elon Musk Ready to Provide Ukraine Access to Starlink for Strikes on Russia
Elon Musk stated that he may allow Ukraine to use Starlink satellite systems for attacks on Russia, but he is awaiting a political decision from U.S. President Donald Trump. Musk informed Mykhailo Fedorov that he is willing to agree to the use of Starlink terminals by Ukrainian drones outside of Ukraine, but emphasized that this is a political issue. He can only provide access to Starlink for attacks on Russia after a decision is made in the White House. Fedorov noted that increasing strikes on Russia could force Vladimir Putin to end the war, but additional investments in armaments are needed for this. Ukrainian military forces can use Starlink on the territory of Ukraine and temporarily occupied territories, but not on the territory of Russia. Earlier, The Atlantic reported on Ukraine's desire to use Starlink for strikes on Russia, and Fedorov had reached out to Musk regarding this issue. Previously, Musk denied Kyiv the expansion of Starlink usage for long-range strikes due to concerns about nuclear escalation.
