KG Inisis is collaborating with Line Next to promote the commercialization of a global payment service based on stablecoins. According to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed on the 10th at KG Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul, the two companies plan to connect Line Next's stablecoin payment solution, 'Unifi Pay,' with KG Inisis's electronic payment infrastructure and merchant network. The collaboration includes cooperation on stablecoin payment services based on Unifi Pay technology, joint development, exploration of new business opportunities, technical support, and joint marketing. KG Inisis will provide its experience in operating domestic and international merchant networks and payment infrastructure, while Line Next will support the development of stablecoin payment services with Web3 technology. Through this collaboration, KG Inisis aims to expand its existing electronic payment business into the virtual asset payment sector, while Line Next plans to broaden the application scope of Unifi Pay. Jae-hyun Myung, Executive Director of KG Inisis, noted that stablecoins are gaining attention as a new payment method that can enhance the efficiency and accessibility of the global payment market. Wooseok Kim, CSO of Line Next, stated that the collaboration will expand the utilization of Unifi Pay technology and provide a convenient stablecoin payment experience for both users and merchants.
