NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has recorded the largest single-day increase in the cost of debt default protection in history. The market reacted strongly to news that NVIDIA is negotiating an artificial intelligence infrastructure deal worth over $750 billion, raising concerns about the potential for increased debt burden. According to data from ICE Data Services, on Monday, the cost of five-year debt default protection for NVIDIA surged by approximately 0.14 percentage points at one point, marking the largest intraday increase for such swap contracts since trading began last November.
