Ondo Finance (ONDO) has appointed Adam Shulman, formerly of Blockchain.com, as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Shulman recently served as CFO at Monash Investment Management and oversaw finance, treasury, and risk operations at Blockchain.com. Ondo Finance, founded in 2021 by former Goldman Sachs personnel, is a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization company that offers traditional financial assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds, stocks, and ETFs as blockchain-based products. In May, the total value locked (TVL) in Ondo Stocks exceeded $1 billion, with cumulative trading volume reaching $18 billion. Shulman stated that the growth of Ondo Stocks and collaboration with traditional market infrastructure providers indicate a shift towards institutional scale in the tokenization market. Ondo Finance launched a stock token model linked to DTCC's tokenization services on July 15, aiming for a formal service launch in October 2026. Additionally, on July 23, its SEC-registered broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, received FINRA approval to provide tokenized stocks and funds to U.S. investors.
