The advancement of tokenization broadens the debate on access to global assets, wealth organization, and tax declaration in Brazil.
Currently, the tokenization of real assets is starting to gain traction in the Brazilian financial market and is already reaching solutions aimed at the end user. In this context, Âmbar, a Brazilian wealth management platform with tokenized assets, operates in offering a digital structure. This structure allows access to tokenized global assets, such as dollars, gold, international stocks, and ETFs, with an initial ticket starting from US$ 100.
Indeed, the operation includes custody by BitGo, conversion via Pix by BlendFi, and tokenized financial products from Pods. Additionally, Âmbar concentrates the access interface, curation, and wealth monitoring. On the other hand, specialized partners are responsible for stages such as custody, conversion, and structuring of the products. It is worth noting, according to the company, that users' assets do not remain under the custody of the company.
In this sense, the advancement of this model occurs at a time of expansion of the base of Brazilians with financial applications. Indeed, according to Anbima, the country ended 2025 with 60.6 million people in this market. Therefore, the growth has been mainly driven by a younger, digitalized audience interested in alternatives for wealth diversification.
Despite this growth, access to international assets still often involves a fragmented journey, with different platforms. For example, these platforms are for currency conversion, asset acquisition, exposure to other classes, portfolio tracking, tax organization, and issuance of wealth reports.
Therefore, for Âmbar, tokenization can help reduce part of this operational complexity. That is to say, this happens by bringing together different stages in the same digital environment. Furthermore, the company projects revenue between R$ 60 million and R$ 80 million in 2027. Thus, the model combines tokenization, conversion via Pix, specialized custody, curation, and wealth monitoring.
Indeed, according to Felipe Lima, CEO of Âmbar, the platform was developed to meet people looking to diversify their wealth. However, they still encounter operational barriers to accessing different classes of global assets in an integrated manner.
"Today, it is necessary to build a custom architecture to access different classes of assets. Âmbar is born to consolidate this experience in a single platform, with curation, wealth reporting, and on-chain infrastructure. The technology allows for reduced operational costs, increased fractionalization, and delivering an experience that was previously concentrated in traditional wealth management structures," he states.
In practice, after registration, the KYC process, defining the wealth profile, and the first conversion to stablecoin, the user will be able to access the available assets. Additionally, they will be able to track the consolidated position, adjust exposure by asset class, and receive reports in a format suitable for tax declaration.
In addition to access to global assets, the consolidation of wealth information on a single platform can have a direct impact. Thus, this affects users' financial organization. For example, in operations with different classes of assets, especially abroad or in tokenized structures, tracking positions, balances, and documentation tends to be an important step. Therefore, this is for control and declaration purposes.
In this sense, Âmbar's proposal is to act as a layer of access and monitoring. Thus, it offers reports that can support the user's tax organization. It is worth noting that the company does not perform direct custody of the assets, a function assigned to specialized partners. However, it centralizes the visualization and wealth monitoring within the platform.
Indeed, the advancement of tokenization of real assets has been observed in different segments of the global financial market. For example, this includes fixed income, funds, commodities, digital currencies, and international assets. Furthermore, the technology is seen by the sector as an infrastructure capable of making the distribution of financial products more efficient. Additionally, it is auditable and fractional.
Currently, in Brazil, this market is still developing. However, it is beginning to approach solutions aimed at individual investors. In this sense, for Âmbar, there is a gap between more transactional financial applications and private banking and family office structures. For example, these structures are traditionally aimed at higher net worth audiences.
"The journey of global diversification is still very fragmented. Tokenization allows for reorganizing this experience. Âmbar's role is to build a secure bridge between the local market and assets that previously seemed more distant, with a simpler and integrated structure," concludes Lima.
